Barton Moss Primary School

Hi to all of the gorgeous Nursery children and we hope that you and your parents are doing well.  Miss Whittaker, Miss Thomas and myself miss you all very much and we cannot wait to see you all again.

Just to let you know that we have set up a Home Learning page on here so that you and your parents have more ideas of what you can do at home as well as the packs you have been collecting from school. Please email any activities that you have done at home to or put it on the school's Twitter account. It certainly puts a big smile on our faces and makes our day when we see what you have managed to do at home.

You know we do lots of things in our classroom. We read everyday and cbeebies have some great stories to listen to. We also do phonics and you can watch Jolly Phonics on YouTube as well as play phonic games on For maths you can go to or to play some fun maths games.

For more ideas please look at

Finally you could draw a picture or write a letter to your family members who do not live with you or next door neighbours as everyone enjoys receiving personal things in the post, it brings a smile to their faces.

Hopefully we will be together soon

Take care everyone and stay safe

Mrs Cottingham
