Hi Year ones
Hope you are safe and well and enjoying spending time with your families.
I am missing you all terribly.
As well as the home learning packs that have been available for you to collect from school, we have set up a home learning page on here so you can access more things across the curriculum.
Please keep emailing your work to school at firstname.lastname@example.org or sharing your pictures on our school twitter account @BartonmossCPS
Each day I set a Lego challenge and try to add some practical challenges for you to do at home like scavenger hunts and maths problems.
Seeing pictures of your learning brightens my day.
Don’t forget to practice your spellings on Spelling Shed. Come on we need to get higher up the leader board! Plus each day at 2pm there is competition against other children and teachers from our school. You will find this on the Hive. You will need a code that is shared on Twitter just before 2pm.
I have set some work on Purple Mash under ‘To Dos’ to consolidate our learning.
www.monsterphonics.com has a lesson each morning, you have to login to access all activities. username:login password:homelearning We love reading alien words so why not have a go at making your own names for aliens using the sounds you know. You could draw aliens to match them.
Make sure you are getting plenty of exercise. Kick start are doing a daily challenge which can be found on twitter or Facebook or you could join me in taking part to do Joe Wicks on you tube each day at 9am.
Why don’t you make a flower or rainbow and pop it on a neighbour’s doorstep.
Hopefully we will all be together again soon x
