Hi Year 2,
I’m missing you all so much and can’t wait to get back to school and see everyone! I hope you are all well and safe and enjoying the lovely sunshine.
We have put some home learning ideas on this page so you can find more activities to keep you busy while school is closed. Please keep emailing any work or pictures to firstname.lastname@example.org or send it to the school’s or my twitter account. I really love to see what you’ve been up to; it makes my day!
You know how much we love to read in our classroom, so why don’t you have a look at these websites and find a new favourite book. I’d absolutely love to hear you read so if you want, upload a video to twitter for me to see. There are free e books available here: https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/for-home/find-a-book/library-page or
Username email@example.com Password Parents20!
Also, my boys and I have really been enjoying learning how to draw many different things by following the art hub for kids on YouTube. It’s brilliant! Why don’t you have a go at drawing something, I’d love to see what you create. https://www.youtube.com/user/ArtforKidsHub
I’m putting new activities on Twitter and Purple Mash regularly and it’s so lovely when I log on to see the messages you are sending- keep it up!
Lastly, don’t forget Spelling Shed- we’re currently in the lead of the whole school! Let’s see if we can get on the world leader board too. If Year 3 can do it, we can too! Go for it!
